Leigh and Trevor! What an amazing night we had with them! I actually met Leigh’s sister years ago when we worked together at a flower shop. Little did I know several months later I would meet Leigh at a certified nursing assistant class. She was super quiet, and I was homeschooled, so as you can imagine we didn’t talk much. Fast forward the next several years-Leigh started nursing school (God bless her!! I’m so impressed by anyone who becomes a nurse! Hardest job in the world!) Anyways, I started noticing a guy in a ton of her pictures. They were adorable together! Definitely figured he was the one, because Leigh’s face in every single picture looked like the happiest in her life! And I’m sure the crazy stress that nursing school brings cannot produce those kinds of smiles! Trevor proposed in one of the most romantic ways! They were vacationing with his family at the beach, and he planned everything perfectly! He arranged to have a plane fly overhead saying “Leigh will you marry me?” By the time he got her attention to read the sign, she looked down and he was on one knee! The genuine look of shock and surprise that the photographer captured at the beach is one of the most amazing shots I’ve ever seen! Gah!! They are just the cutest!
When we were talking about location ideas, we quickly recommended Allerton Park and Retreat Center. We could easily spend all day walking around and hardly use any of what the grounds offer! The weather was what we photographers dream of! Leigh and Trevor snuggled and cuddled, and boy did Leigh get the giggle down! Haha! It’s so fun to see a couple God clearly chose for each other. In this crazy busy season for them it was so great to see them relax and just have fun. I love the way Trevor looks at her- even just in little moments walking to a new location. He adores Leigh, and I simply love watching him watch her! We finished off the session at some beautiful red barns. The sunset was amazing and just what we had hoped for. As we drove away, Brett and I were grinning like little school children! Leigh and Trevor! We love you guys so much, and cannot wait for your wedding next year!!
