This luxurious ranch-style wedding venue covers over 500 acres of Wimberley's hill country, formerly known as the Rough Hollow Ranch until it was acquired and transformed into the Videre Estate in 2020. The estate is a dream come true for those seeking a modern, lavish wedding venue that also provides the enchanting Texas Hill Country experience. The Summit, situated next to the breathtaking Videre Lake, which spans eight acres, presents one of the most stunning panoramic views imaginable.
The Videre Estate offers you the option to spend a day or the entire weekend there. The stables have ample room to lodge you and your closest guests, while the serene lake and rolling hills present perfect opportunities for swimming, hiking, and other outdoor activities on Sunday. In essence, Videre Estate is not just a wedding venue but a place that fosters closer relationships with friends, family, and partners alike.
The Summit, formerly a ranch house, was transformed by the Collins family into a grand architectural masterpiece with multiple levels overlooking Videre Lake. The wedding and party deck offers a one of the most breathtaking views you and your guests will see of Wimberley. The Summit is one of the crown jewels of Hill Country, boasting marble floors, glamourus chandeliers, and a spectacular panoramic view of the rolling hillside.

The Stables at Videre Estate is a 12,000 sq ft repurposed horse barn. The building's former stables have been converted into six luxurious hotel rooms, complete with a 5,000 sq ft lounge for the groom and his groomsmen, a fully stocked bar, and a professional conference room. The stables are also perfect for rehearsal dinners and small micro weddings.

The Bridal Château is a bride's perfect destination for preparing on her wedding day at Videre Estate. The hair and makeup area features multiple stations with big mirrors and comfortable studio chairs, a comfortable lounge, and a three-way mirror (which is perfect for photos!). Next to the suite is a very spacious living room, kitchen, and dining area, ideal for hosting brunch while taking in Videre Lake.

The Bridal Chateau
Videre Lake is 8 acres and the perfect backdrop for your wedding day. Videre Estate offers many activities with the lake to keep you and your guests having a fun weekend. You can go fishing with your groomsmen early in the morning, go swimming, Kayak, paddleboard, or go snorkeling (Try to find the yacht hidden at the bottom of the lake!).

The Videre Estate's property is absolutely massive, 570 acres of trails and caves to explore. If your guests stay the weekend, there is more than enough activities to make it a vacation to remember. You can go horseback riding, hunt fossils, play a round of frisbee golf, spend time in the shooting range, or if you don't even know how to use a firearm, you can take one of several training classes that the Videre Estate offers. Videre Estate's head chef, Mike Harry and executive chef, Mark Grimes, will bring to you and your guests a unique culinary experience that encompasses many different regions of the world. When you open up the menu, you will be blown away at all the options that you have. So many different entree's, side's, and desserts, it does not matter how picky of an eater your fiance is, there is a meal that will fit anyone and everyone. Videre Estate Catering is also available off site and hosts many special events throughout the year at Videre Estate, including Seafood Boils, Backyard BBQ night, and other seasonal events.

To get ready, you can use the Bridal Chateau, which has an outdoor patio beautiful view of Lake Videre, a separate hair and makeup room, and complimentary mimosa bar with soda and water. The groom's quarters is in the stables, where you can play pool with your groomsmen and hang out around the built in bar that is full of beer, soda, and water.
For your ceremony, you will have access to the arch & 200 ceremony chairs. Ceremonies are traditionally on the deck, but in the event of rain, your ceremony space will be set up in the Summit. You will also be given 200 reception chairs, fifteen 36' round adjustable high-top cocktail tables, five 60' round tables, twenty 8' farmhouse tables, six 6' tables, and Six 8' tables.
You will have 2 bar fronts and set ups. If you are bringing in an outside caterer, they will have access to the on site catering prep kitchen.
As an added bonus, you will also have access to the Videre Estate's logos and artwork to use in any wedding printed materials or your invitation.

Weekend Package:

50% is due at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due 60 days before your wedding day. A $1,000 Security deposit is due within 10 days of your contract being signed
02. Can we bring in our own alcohol?
Outside Alcohol is not permitted. The Videre Estate offers several bar packages to chose from, with an open bar that lasts 5 hours and 1 bartender per 50 guests.

04. Will there be other events at Videre Estate on my wedding day?
05. Will there be enough parking for my guests?
The Videre Estate has an ample amount of parking that can accommodate shuttles, buses, and get-away vehicles.
03. What time does our wedding need to end by?
All events at the Videre Estate must conclude by 11pm and break down by midnight.
06. Can we have our engagement photos taken at Videre Estate?
If you are using an approved Videre Estate Photographer, you can use the property for your engagement photo session. If they are not approved with Videre Estate, then there will is an additional fee.

If we had to describe the Videre Estate in one single sentence, we would say that Videre Estate is a luxury wedding venue that also thinks it is an elopement destination. We have been to over one hundred wedding venues in the Austin area. There is no view of hill country like the one you will see off the deck of the Summit. The hills just keep going and going as far as your eye can see.
Another one of our favorite places at Videre Estate is the pond that is right by the Stables. The water is so blue, just as blue as the ocean in the Bahamas! With over 500 acres, the opportunities for epic portraits are endless!
Videre Estate also has a fantastic backup plan in case it rains. That is so important to photographers. There is so much beautiful natural light that pours into the Summit. Videre Estate gives us the peace of mind that no matter what the weather has in store for us, our couple is going to have their day captured beautifully.
