The most common word we say each and every time we walk through the gates at Shiraz Garden is "WOW". The size of the property is just incredible, this is a photographer's playground for portraits. Lets start with the Hidden Staircase. It is one of the most impressive pieces of architecture in all of Austin, Texas. The Mohana Overlook is one of our favorite views of hill country, it is exploding with color at the very top. Sunset Vista's name says it all, there is absolutely no better place to get those beautiful golden hour portraits then this open space.
One of the most impressive features that Shiraz Garden for us is actually The Open Cathedral. Rain is always an issue at weddings. The cathedral is the perfect option for you and your guests to enjoy an outdoor ceremony without getting wet. Not only that, but the Cathedral allows in so much beautiful light that portraits are absolutely stunning. There is just an endless opportunity for photographs at Shiraz Garden and we get so excited every time a couple says "We are having our wedding at Shiraz Garden!"

The average budget of a couple getting married on a SATURDAY at Shiraz Garden is $25,000-$45,000+. This is covering all wedding expenses (Photographer, DJ, food, dress, etc.). Creative couples have also been known to host weddings with a budget of $15,000-$25,000 with smaller guest lists.
You can choose your own vendors. Photographers and Caterers not on the recommended vendor list must visit Shiraz Garden and be approved.
You can bring your own alcohol. Alcohol will be serve by WeTendBar. Shiraz Garden asks that all alcohol to be behind the bar an hour before the start of your reception and can only be accessed by bar staff. Exceptions include 1. Purchasing an all inclusive package with Monarch Weddings, 2, Your catering offers bar tending. No shots are allowed.
Fireworks are not permitted at Shiraz Garden with the exception of sparklers for your exit, which must be on the black top of the formal garden. Candles and fire are not permitted, unless fire is contained and is specific for a religious ceremony, which must be under supervision.
Because Shiraz Garden only hosts one wedding per day, cost to rent the property at Shiraz Garden does not change.
Shiraz Garden is pet friendly! Dogs are allowed for your ceremony, as well as your photos. If a professional pet handler is watching your pet, they can stay after the ceremony and for the reception. Make sure to ask the Shiraz Garden director for more information.
