Macey and Tyler! Goodness, we love these two so much! We were so excited to finally meet Tyler. We have heard a lot about this sweet, shy guy who keeps Macey grounded and steady. If I were asked to describe Macey in one phrase, it would be joyful, authentic, caring, and Disney-obsessed. Haha! This girl LOVES Disney! I mean like so much that Tyler proposed at Disney in front of a castle. She has the cutest little Kentucky drawl that makes her even more charming, if that’s possible! And to top it all off she’s pretty much Everly’s godmother!
Brett first met Macey when he was photographing monster trucks several years ago. I remember him saying Everly had a new aunt after she was born and I was like.. “Ok, who is this woman calling herself my child’s aunt??” We have gotten several boxes in the mail FULL of clothes for Everly (Disney-themed of course). I was so excited when I finally got to meet her and she and Evy got to meet. Macey was all kinds of emotions and she hardly ate her supper; she and Everly just giggled and played. Fast forward-over a year later we were headed to Indianapolis to photograph Macey and Tyler’s engagement session!!
We walked around the Indianapolis Canal and had the best time. We had to take a lot of breaks because Macey kept getting distracted by the many MANY dogs walking around. I can’t blame her though! There were some precious ones. I think my favorite was the cute little corgi puppies and as we walked behind them we noted how stinking cute corgi butts are! Macey also tried to really befriend the local ducks as well. We walked and talked and Brett made us all so stinking nervous because he insisted on walking right on the edge of the canal with two cameras strapped to his body!
Thankfully, we didn’t have any accidents and we made the most of the beautiful sunset and the last few minutes of light. Thank you, Macey and Tyler, for entrusting us to capture your amazing day! We can’t wait for your 2021 wedding!
