When Kelsie and Ethan dreamt about their wedding day, there was one place they wanted to celebrate with their friends, Raven’s Rock in Morgantown. Just off highway 68 in Coppers Rock State Park, Raven Rock is a special place where Kelsie and Ethan hiked to very frequently during their relationship. Ethan proposed to Kelsie at Raven Rock, it was only fitting to finish their wedding day there. The week leading up to the wedding there were many prayers that the forecast would change. Every single day the forecast said it would rain all day. The morning of the wedding though, our prayers were answered as the clouds start to break up and the sun would come out. One of our favorite moments from the wedding ceremony was definitely listening to all of Kelsie and Ethan’s friends and family sing worship songs together. We were able to take part of it ourselves, which made for such a fun experience with everyone.
The entire bridal party climbed up the rock paths to the top of Raven Rock, just in time for the sunset. Talk about one of the most breathtaking views in the Appalachian Mountains! The leaves were just starting to turn, which filled the valley with so many different colors. What an absolutely beautiful ending to a day full of fun and laughs with Kelsie and Ethan.
It was such an honor getting to know your entire family and being a part of your wedding day. We are so excited to see what the future brings for you both!
