The bride walks out of the bridal suite at the Monte Bello Estate. She sees all of her bridesmaids in front of her with their backs turned. Each girl trembling as they await to see Kristin for the first time on their wedding day. Each of these girls know how important today is for Kristin. All have them have been in Kristin’s life for many years. Some were sorority sisters together at the University of Illinois. Another an actual sister to Kristin and has known her their whole lives. Each girl with a very special relationship to Kristin that is so unique, yet so similar to one another. This is a day that Kristin has been dreaming about since she was little, today she finally makes that lifelong commitment to Ryan.
The day started off very rainy and dreary, thunder could be heard outside the Monte Bello Estate walls as Kristin was getting ready for her wedding. Downstairs, Monte Bello Estate created such an awesome place for their grooms to get ready. The entire basement is wall to wall sports memorabilia from so many of Chicago’s sport teams including the Bears, Bulls, and Cubs. We really had no idea how the day was going to go, it had been raining non stop for hours.
There is one thing that is really special about the Monte Bello Estate that nobody really sees, and that is the grass. When the rain finally stopped falling, after only about an hour or so, the ground, pavement, the entire Monte Bello Estate property was DRY! The wedding that Kristin and Ryan have been dreaming about would actually happen!
We could not get over how gorgeous their details and decor were at this wedding. Just look at that Bouquet! This was definitely one of the more relaxing weddings that we have been a part of, all thanks to Hannah Wentz from Enchanted Events Weddings (One of the best Day-of-Coordinators you are going to find). Hannah kept everything under control for us, which allowed Kristin and Ryan to really have fun with each other, exploring the Monte Bello Estate property. Also a lot of props to the DJ Chris Kidd, who kept the dance floor absolutely packed all night long!
The Monte Bello Estate is forever one of our all time favorite wedding venues in the Chicago area, I cannot thank their staff enough for all the help they gave us, and Kristin & Ryan. Thank you so much guys for letting us be a part of your wedding day. We are so blessed to have you both in our lives and can’t wait for you to come down for a visit and go for some wine tastings at some of the best wineries in Hill Country!
