As they broke from their very first kiss, they turned to see their friends and family rejoice. It wasn’t the same. It wasn’t what they were dreaming of. Every bride dreams of this day. Seeing all of their friends and family on their feet, cheering, celebrating. The hundreds of friends and family that they were envisioning were not there. Restrictions from the Pandemic left couples to only have the closest ten people in their lives witness them becoming man and wife.
Trevor and Leigh walked down the stairs and exited the barn. Leigh turned her attention to the road. She stopped dead in her tracks, her jaw fell to the ground. On the road leading up to the farm was a line of cars a half mile long. Each car was loaded with friends, family, everyone who wanted to celebrate this day with Trevor and Leigh. Not even a Pandemic was going to stop all of their loved ones from being there to celebrate this amazing couple.
We arrived to this beautiful private family farm, just east of Fairbury, Illinois, greeted by one of thee most beautiful red barns you will ever see. Leigh was surrounded by her mother and her sisters as she got ready. So much love for their sister as they helped her with her dress and her veil.
This wedding was sure full of emotion. Leigh’s father had the biggest smile on her face as he saw his baby girl in her wedding dress for the first time. He was so happy, but still shed a tear as this was his very first daughter that he was going to be giving away. Trevor was waiting just around the corner for Leigh. She walked up and Trevor turned around to see his bride for the first time. He actually stopped breathing for a quick second as he turned around and he saw Leigh. First looks are always one of our favorite moments for that very reason. In case you are wondering, of course Brett was all teary eye’d as he watched Trevor get all emotional.
Leigh and Trevor, what an incredible day. This may not have been your original wedding plan, but we really do believe you ended up with one of the most incredible wedding days that really encompasses the beauty of what the Illinois Countryside offers. All of the beautiful details that you put into your day really made it your own. Congratulations to both of you and we can’t wait for the big party with all of your friends this fall!
